I assist Kate at @clickingwithcanines at her weekly puppy classes, 🧡 I originally started attending once a week before I took over the leads here at FMDW & whilst I was doing an intense hand over with Jo the previous owner of this business! 👍

I originally asked Kate if I could attend and observe to gain extra knowledge & experience on top of the studies I was already doing in canine behaviour & body language. 🐕 And guess what?.. I’m still attending now, over a year on but now as Kate’s assistant helping the puppies and young dogs in our local area get the best start in life. 💯 ✅

Kates puppy classes are all about giving you and your puppy the life skills they need to flourish in our modern day world, focusing on being polite, loose lead walking, recall and impulse control. ✅✅✅

As I dog Walker I only ever use positive reinforcement handling techniques and myself and Kate are aligned in our techniques as she is a positive reinforcement trainer and behaviourist with a MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour. 🤓🤓🤓🤓✅✅✅✅

You won’t see any prong collars 🤮, shock collars 😱, slip leads ❌ or any other aversive methods, no quick fixes over here! You’ll more often then not see us both with bags of tasty treats 🥩 to reward the behaviours we want to see in our four legged companions! 🥦 🧀

If you ever contact a “trainer” or “behaviourist” and they promise to fix your dogs “problem” in one session, run a mile 🚩 🚩🚩🚩🚩
